Beatrice Glattauer, the teacher, has worked for twenty years at the La Trobe University and Melbourne University Language Centres teaching French, German, Italian and Spanish at all levels including the Preparation for VCE Courses and International Baccalaureate.
Her own enthusiasm for languages is reflected in her teaching approach: audio-visual-lingual which helps students to learn the foreign language in the most effective and enjoyable way.

| Types of Tuition
|
|
|
Tuition is in small groups or individually depending on preference and specific need.
Eg. If you need to learn Spanish, Italian, French or German in a short period of time in a rather intensive pace, you would prefer an individual tuition to achieve your personal goal within your time limitations. Whilst if you like to participate in a small group, sharing the same learning aims, the group tuition will be your choice.

Never too early to learn a language!
We offer classes for children aged 5 years onwards.
Language learning should be an enjoyable experience, the use of puppets, drama, games, songs, dances will ensure children love coming to classes

| VCE Preparation
|

This is a continuous Language Course aimed at preparing Year 11 and 12 VCE students
The Preparation Courses focus on the requirements for the examination, prepares students for the General Conversation, Report and Discussion as well as the written examination.

Courses for Undergraduate and Postgraduate Students, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
In any field of studies, the reading comprehension of a foreign language broadens the scope of knowledge, adding an enriching tool to any research work.
This Course is offered at two levels:

| Learning Levels
|
|
|
Normally you would choose your own level. You are a:
Beginner if you have either never learned the language or had done so a long time ago and have the feeling that you have forgotten everything. A fresh start is beneficial. Level 2 (Post Beginners) Some knowledge of the target language. 25-30 hours of formal recent tuition. Level 3 (Upper Intermediate) More than 60 hours of formal tuition and familiarity with the use of past and future tenses. Level 4 (Advanced) A degree of fluency is required at a level of confidence sufficient to maintain a normal speed conversation and the understanding of the reading of literary texts.

Group classes cost less, depending on the number of participants.
